You, who have been following my dances for a few days, a few weeks, a few months, you know how my commitment relates to a certain state of violence in the world and the desire to act in everyday life, since the Paris attacks of January 2015, towards a poetry in action, to work for life, for solidarity, for more tenderness in the relationship between categories and bodies. Since the tragic events of November 13, 2015, this commitment is more necessary to me than ever. But dancing is very difficult in such circumstances. Every day, I am at a loss for a dance to create, but I believe that now more than ever we must come together in sensitive and kindly ways that welcome our differences. So I dance. I dance, even today, a little, unimportant dance, no more than a drop of water or the beat of a butterfly’s wing in comparison to everything else. I will dance for us all, for the world of ethical interrelations in which I long to live. See you soon*** (11/17/15)
